Mölnlycke Mepilex Border Post-Op – 10×25 cm

Mepilex® Border Post-Op is a self-adherent soft silicone surgical dressing designed for exuding acute wounds, including surgical wounds, cuts, and abrasions. Its all-in-one design with Flex Technology provides high flexibility and conformability over joints, such as hips and knees, supporting patient mobility.

The dressing absorbs blood and exudate while minimising the risk of maceration. The transparent border allows skin inspection without removing the dressing, while the showerproof seal and bacteria barrier help protect the wound. The Safetac® wound contact layer minimises pain and trauma to the wound and surrounding skin during dressing removal. It seals around the wound edges to help prevent exudate leakage onto the surrounding skin, reducing the risk of maceration.

Mepilex® Border Post-Op may be left in place for up to 14 days, depending on the condition of the wound and the surrounding skin, or as indicated by clinical practice. The wound pad should overlap the wound by at least 1–2 cm to help protect the surrounding skin from maceration and support secure fixation of the dressing.
